Dear Food Lover,

Fall is here, the weather is cooling down, and the sun is setting earlier and earlier each evening. We still have 4 weeks of outdoor Farmers Markets, before we move indoors, and for our return to the Ukiah Farmers Market!

We have been extremely busy this year, barely able to keep up with the demand for our fine foods and confections. As a matter of fact, we can hardly keep our almost-famous Pot Pies in stock. We have been out of our Vegetarian Pot Pies for a few weeks, but we just made more, and they will be ready in time for this weeks markets!. Unfortunately, we are completely out of our Lamb & Gorgonzola and Pork Peach & Ginger Pies, but they’ll be back in stock over the next couple of weeks. We also made a big batch of our Turkey & Cheese Enchiladas – two large corn tortillas stuffed with roasted turkey, mixed cheeses, sour cream, sliced olives, and doused in our wonderful and zippy Chipotle Enchilada Salsa!. There are two Enchiladas per pan for the low price of $10. Due to the increase in the price of poultry, the price for our Enchiladas will be going up very soon, so please get them at this lower price while you still can!! We should have a good supply of them for the markets.

A new item will be offered at the Farmers Markets this week: Autumn Pasta Salad. A ready-to-eat item that’s truly delicious, and something a bit different from our normal offerings. Please read the finer details below.

Our most popular Farmers Market item, BBQ Pulled Pork Buns, will be back this week in Fort Bragg, as will our Sun-dried Tomato and Basil Focaccia in Willits!

We just delivered some of your favorite Artisan Chocolates to Harvest Market in Fort Bragg, including: Hedgehogs, Bobble Bars, 3-Bite Caramels and Mangoneros. Talk about not being able to keep up – the demand for our chocolates is almost overwhelming, and is certainly appreciated!! If you haven’t already tried them, we introduced a new flavor a few weeks ago – Tangerine Dreams – white chocolate cups filled with a tangerine and peach white balsamic buttercream. With fresh peach and lots of tangerine zest, these completely delectable confections are reminiscent of Creamsicles. The tart and zesty filling compliments the sweet and creamy white chocolate perfectly.

In addition to our regular menu items, we will be offering the following:

Autumn Pasta Salad – Tricolor bow tie pasta, tossed with roast chicken, blanched carrots and broccoli, peas, sweet red onion, garlic, red and yellow bell peppers, capers, sun-dried tomatoes, aged balsamic and olive oil. Refreshing and absolutely delicious. Ready to eat, in 12oz $6.50.

Strawberry Rhubarb Tarts – Made with crisp tart rhubarb, and sugar-filled strawberries, with fresh ginger, a little brown sugar, cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg. $6.00

Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie – A delicious twist on this classic dessert. The bourbon and chocolate temper the sweetness of the pie. We will be offering 8″ Pies at $18.00, and slices for $5.00

Caramel Sauce & Apple Dip – Great over ice cream or for dipping apples, this smoky caramel is outrageously delicious!! 8 oz $8.00

We will not be offering our Chinese Chicken Salad Fixings or our Vegetarian Roll-ups this week, but they will return next week. We are also out of 3-Meat Cannelloni and Vegetarian Enchiladas; both will be returning very soon.

You can find Bolliver’s goodies at some of your local businesses: Headlands Coffee House in Fort Bragg, Harvest Market in Fort Bragg, Queenie’s Road House in Elk, and the Westside Renaissance Market in Ukiah. Thank you for supporting these vendors!

Next week, our Beef Au Vin will be returning, as will Roasted Pumpkin Pies and White Chocolate and Pear Strudel with Raspberry Sauce!

3-Bite Caramels

Have a great week and hope to see you very soon!
