Mendocino Glazed Meatballs
A great appetizer to serve with toothpicks, or make a meal out of them by serving on bread or rice. These meatballs are made with ground pork and beef, with ground chick peas and lots of seasoning, and are gluten-free. They are slow simmered in a very zesty (not spicy) sauce that’s made with pomegranate, cherries, plums and red peppers, until the sauce forms a thick and wonderful glaze.
