Gringo Turkey Mole
A taste treat which is usually reserved for special occasions. Now, there’s no need to wait!
This rich and elegant slow-cooked stew (pronounced mo-lay) is spicy and very delicious. A blending of hot and mild chili peppers, roasted turkey, unsweetened and semi-sweet chocolate, peanut, sesame, carrot, celery, onion and red bell pepper. This version is lightly sweet, savory and really quite spicy (not for the faint of heart). Served with milk chocolate sour cream on the side (which helps cut the heat). Wonderful when served on a bed of cooked brown or white rice, along with tortillas.
