We hope you all had a wonderful week, and that you’re ready for some more tasty treats from Bolliver’s! It has been about a month since we’ve offered our Pork Peach & Ginger Pot Pies, so it is happy news, indeed, that they have returned to our menu. If you haven’t had one of our Pork Pot Pies, they are like a cross between a peach pie and Asian-style Sweet & Sour (minus soy sauce and pineapple). These pies are truly delicious, and are one of our personal favorites. If you enjoy the tang of fresh ginger, and a bit of heat from chilies, then the flavor of these pies is sure to please!

We offered our Raspberry Truffle Torte a couple of weeks ago, and the slices sold out instantly, so we’re offering them again this week, with more slices to go around. We will also be offering our Ling Cod Quesadillas and a new Coconut and Lemon Cake, which will make its debut at the Fort Bragg Farmers Market. Chicken Hoisin Phyllo Triangleswith Hoisin Sherry Dip

In addition to our regular menu, we are offering:

Ling Cod Quesadilla Especial – Two flour tortillas filled with our chipotle enchilada sauce, vegetable rice, black beans with jalapeno and lime, roasted ling cod and shredded cheeses. Absolutely delicious, and always a sell-out. Very limited supply, so please reserve. $10.00 (Please note that the price will be increasing to $12.00 with the next offering of these. Thank you.)

Sun Dried Tomato and Basil Focaccia – With artichoke hearts, chevre and Pancetta. Also available as vegetarian, without the Pancetta. (Available only at the Fort Bragg and Willits Farmers Markets). $6.00

Strawberry Rhubarb Tart – These rustic tarts are made with our flaky pastry, and filled with sweet strawberries and tart rhubarb that are blended with a touch of brown sugar, ginger and cinnamon. Great heated and served with ice cream. Get them while fresh rhubarb is still in season! $5.00

Coconut and Lemon Cake – A fine cake made with lots of shredded coconut and eggs, and then saturated with a tart lemon glaze, and decorated with candied lemon slices. Delicious! $5.00

Baklava – Since we introduced our Baklava, it has been a big hit. This ancient Turkish treat (no, it’s not originally Greek) is made with 40 layers of phyllo pastry and butter, filled with a mixture of walnuts, lemon and spices, and then saturated in a lemon and honey syrup. Baklava is very sweet, and also very addicting! Box of 2 triangles $6.00

Raspberry Truffle Torte – We don’t offer this stunning dessert very often, but when we do, it’s always a hit! Dark chocolate mocha sour cream cake, saturated with Chambord, and filled with seedless raspberry jam and a fresh raspberry truffle butter cream. Topped with dark chocolate ganache and glazed raspberries. One slice will make three servings (unless you don’t want to share…) Slice $8.00
